The SIMPLEX soft-face mallet D40mm (art. 3113.040) with the insert combination of TPE-soft / TPE-mid made by HALDER is the ideal complement to the PICARD tiler’s hammer. Tiles can be positioned carefully and without causing any damage. The aluminium housing with integrated handle protection sleeve turns the hammer into a extra lightweight tool (345g) and allows the user to easily apply and control the right amount of impact force. Both inserts cause no marring and leave behind no undesired rubber marring - unlike conventional rubber mallets. The blue TPE-soft insert is soft and offers great impact cushioning. The medium hard, grey TPE-mid insert allows for work with increased impact force. In line with the smart SIMPLEX principle, all components are replaceable. This helps both your pocketbook and the environment.

The PICARD tiler’s hammer (art. 0008390) is distinguished by its ergonomic 2-component handle with vibration dampening, which offers effortless handling thanks to its inner fibre-glass core. The non-slip handle zone and the suspension eye at the end of the handle guarantee safe working. Its hammer head comes with different impact sides. The flat side can be used to break scored tiles with perfect accuracy. The hard metal tip on the opposite side will even break through burnt surfaces precisely and without effort. That side can also be used to punch holes into the tile with the help of a round hole tool. Exceptionally lightweight (180g), this hammer is also extremely robust and durable.
